Portrait of the Steward of the Medici
Royal Collection at Hampton Court
The quality of the image is far less satisfactory than I could wish for. During my visit to Hampton Court, I took several pictures, but none of them successful. Neither could I find a catalogue from where I would be able to scan this portrait, so you can only take my word for it - it is a very good portrait, very much alive.
The image above is a blend of two pictures and it is cropped. If anyone should offer me a better picture, I would be extremely grateful.
