July 2015: It
turns out that LSA publishes
an annual report, which also tracks gender ratios. If everything works
out right, there might soon be some information on gender ratios in Language
publications and submission/acceptance rates for the LSA annual meeting.

September 23, 2012: I have finally added the information on the International Journal of American Linguistics that Keren Rice sent me half a year ago
